Savannah Christian Church to hold Massing of the Colors

Active and reserve military units, veterans and civic organizations will honor servicemen and women, past and present, in a colorful presentation of flags during The Massing of the Colors, to be held Sunday at 4 p.m. at Savannah Christian Church’s worship center, Henderson campus. This patriotic ceremony is filled with pageantry and moving reminders of sacrifice and service.


The Massing of the Colors is sponsored each year by the Savannah Chapter of the Military Order of the World Wars and includes an elaborate procession of color guards and a formal blessing of the colors.
